There are so many slopes in the Snoqualmie mountains that look great to ski - in theory. But, like this one, are too low in elevation, or face south and west and are subjected to too much solar warming. These hypothetical zones are saved for cloudy days in the dead of winter when the snow levels are low, and the sun hasn’t been seen for weeks.
