The Falls Vol. 1 is a black and white collection drawn from a decade of living just below Snoqualmie Falls — photographing it in every season, every condition, and every hour of light. For the Snoqualmie Tribe, this is the center of the universe, the place where Moon the Transformer created the people and the rivers. For Scott Rinckenberger, it is simply home, and these images carry that intimacy: the falls in deep freeze and thundering flood, in morning fog and the arc of a rising full moon, seen from angles that require a wetsuit and a dry bag as much as a camera.
