Harvest Color
Harvest Color is a collection made in the fleeting days of autumn across the hills, valleys, and mountains of the Pacific Northwest — a season so brief and so vivid that Scott Rinckenberger calls it the shortest-running collection of the year in honor of the most ephemeral season of the year. In the Snoqualmie Valley, morning fog swirls off the river as maples and cottonwoods flare against their evergreen neighbors. East of the Cascades, quaking aspens and western larches compete for the most golden canopy under cerulean skies. In the alpine, meadows go kaleidoscopic with red and gold, lakes turn crystalline, and the highest peaks catch the year's most brilliant alpenglow. These images ask you to taste the blueberries, feel the swing between sun and shade, and find thanks for the beauty of a moment that will not last. Read Scott's full artist statement →
