This bike is undeniably beautiful. Designed by a brilliant team, wind tunnel tested, and, when piloted by the likes of world class triathlete Rachel McBride it’s capable of some some serious speed. Diamondback wanted the second generation of their groundbreaking Andean triathlon bike to look and feel fast in the imagery as it does in real life, so we spent the day burning up the country roads near my home in Fall City, WA.
The day started grey and the roads were soaked from an overnight rainstorm, but before long, the sun was burning through the clouds, and Rachel was burning up the pavement.
