Why the new 'Make the America the Beautiful Pass Beautiful Again Sleeve and Sticker Sheet'?

The America the Beautiful Pass is the key to our National Parks, National Forests, National Monuments and countless other federally overseen public lands. Since 2004, it’s been a staple for a vast majority of outdoor loving Americans.

Since its inception, the front of this pass has included a scenic photograph featuring the landscapes, flora and fauna of our unrivaled national public lands. The law that created the America the Beautiful Pass establishes that the imagery for the pass is to be chosen via an annual competition that is open to the public.

In 2026, this law was entirely disregarded by the Trump Administration in favor of featuring a photograph of a sneering Donald Trump next to our first president, George Washington. This is legally, ethically, philosophically and aesthetically inexcusable.

I am not the first, and surely won’t be the last to offer a solution to this disgusting, vain overreach. While the government has followed with guidance disallowing any alteration of the America The Beautiful pass in response to a broadly adopted sticker, sharpie, etc. defacement movement, the best solution seems to be a sleeve that obscures the offending image, but does not alter the actual pass.

As such, I humbly offer the “Make the America The Beautiful Pass Beautiful Again Sleeve and Sticker Sheet”. Available in black and white and color versions, each featuring 9 individual images captured in many of the country’s most iconic landscapes from Joshua Tree to Yellowstone to the North Cascades.

Each sticker sheet will ship with 3 sleeves and 9 stickers, allowing people to change their photo seasonally, give extras to friends and family, and otherwise widely spread beautiful images of our national treasures that should be included with our national public lands passes.

For every sleeve and sticker sheet sold, 25% will be donated to the National Park Foundation in hopes of alleviating some of the irresponsible cuts, and reallocation of the National Parks budget to such vanity projects at the infamous Reflecting Pool. Let’s fund the places that are sacred to all Americans. Also, Please vote. Thanks.
